Because the future of travel isn’t about where you go, but about how deeply you live it, from within
The founder
My name is Nicolo. I was born in Milan and raised in the Tuscan hills of Siena, in a place where life has always followed emotion more than convention. I grew up inside La Certosa di Maggiano, our family’s 14th-century monastery turned Relais & Châteaux hotel. From a young age, I watched travelers walk through our doors not just to see Tuscany, but to live it. They shared our table, our land, our laughter. And whenever I could, I took them out to discover my Tuscany. That was my first lesson in what I now call “emotional marketing”: creating genuine moments that awaken something inside and stay with people long after they leave.

Life then carried me far from those hills: actor, shark researcher, scuba instructor, yachtmaster, restaurant owner, experience designer, and eventually digital marketer. The paths were different, but the thread was always the same: passion, emotion, and the desire to live fully, and help others live fully too.
WITHINO was born from that thread. From every place I’ve lived, every person I’ve met, every moment that reminded me that the real journey is not what you see, but what you feel. A return to the soul of discovery.
And this is my invitation: to experience a culture from within, with passion and emotion.
The vision
WITHINO isn’t a travel company. It’s an invitation to experience life through the gestures, traditions, and passions of the people who make each place unique.
Whether it’s harvesting grapes in Tuscany, meditating in the Negev desert, cooking with a Jamaican local family, or exploring Pachamama rituals in Peru, every experience is handpicked and personally tested. I collaborate only with people who embody their culture: artisans, winemakers, farmers, dreamers, those who live with authenticity and purpose.
The mission
To inspire a new kind of traveler: one who seeks meaning over sightseeing, connection over consumption, and emotion over entertainment.
To change the way people see the world, and in doing so, help them rediscover their own.
The promise
Every retreat, every experience is designed to awaken your senses and touch your heart. Because travel should not only take you somewhere, it should change something inside you.
